EN4 Numbers : Factors and Multiples Mathematics Questions


Past PSLE questions (2004 to 2008)
1.  Write down the common factor of 9 and 15 that is greater than 1.

2.  Write down all the common factors of 8 and 12

3.  Write down all the multiples of 6 and 9 that are smaller than 50.

4.  There are some marbles in a tin. The marbles can be put into bags of 6 or 8 with no marbles leftover. When the marbles are put into bags of 10, there are 2 marbles leftover. What is the smallest possible number of marbles in the tin?

5.  Two metal bar of length 72 cm and 96cm. Short bars of equal length are cut from two metal bar without retainer. What is the largest possible length of each short bar?
